How to Wear Spring Florals in Winter

If you're like me, you find it a huge hassle to switch out your entire wardrobe with the changing seasons. And some spring pieces are just too pretty to put away in storage for the cold-weather months. So why not give spring floral prints a chance to shine in in the winter?

Obviously, our main goal is to stay warm, and with many spring wardrobe pieces being a bit sheer, you must layer to make them work. And one of the easiest ways to make the spring prints blend into a winter wardrobe is to go heavy on the rich, dark hues of the season. Browns and dark greens are some of my favorite color pairings with spring florals. To balance the look, add shoes or a bag in an edgy metallic finish.

Combine dainty and bold floral prints with dark hues and a touch of metallic.

Yes, you can wear a spring mini skirt in winter, but layer up!
