The tricky part to shopping for vintage clothing online is making sure the pieces fit. 99.9% of the time vintage sizes are different than modern sizes (i.e.- a vintage 12 might fit a size small girl today). Plus vintage clothing silhouettes are sometimes different than today's clothing. Say you've got your eye on this adorable pastel vintage playsuit but you are unsure if the size 16 will fit your frame, and you want to make sure the leg holes and bust fit you snuggly. Luckily for vintage buyers, most online vintage sellers painstakingly measure each vintage item in their store, and while they may also provide an estimated modern size, the measurements will give you the best idea of how that perfect little romper will fit.
