The secret to making cozy chic?

If it's not comfortable, I refuse to wear it, and that is doubly true in winter. Give me soft layers that I can easily wear to get coffee, run errands, meet clients, and snuggle up on the couch with my dog Teddy Louand watch Jessica Jones with a glass of shiraz. The trick to making comfortable, pajama-worthy clothes work in any situation? The right shoes.

Get the Look - Star Wars Edition

darth vader star wars - by Ladywolf

Being a Star Wars fan since birth and beyond excited to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens, you just know I had to make some Star Wars-inspired looks. With these outfits I'm sticking with the original Star Wars: A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi. Keep checking back for updates to this post because I'll probably be doing this in my spare time until I've got the whole cast.

Han Solo

Darth Vader

Even included Darth's "light saber". Had to be done.

How to Wear Spring Florals in Winter

If you're like me, you find it a huge hassle to switch out your entire wardrobe with the changing seasons. And some spring pieces are just too pretty to put away in storage for the cold-weather months. So why not give spring floral prints a chance to shine in in the winter?

Obviously, our main goal is to stay warm, and with many spring wardrobe pieces being a bit sheer, you must layer to make them work. And one of the easiest ways to make the spring prints blend into a winter wardrobe is to go heavy on the rich, dark hues of the season. Browns and dark greens are some of my favorite color pairings with spring florals. To balance the look, add shoes or a bag in an edgy metallic finish.

Combine dainty and bold floral prints with dark hues and a touch of metallic.

Yes, you can wear a spring mini skirt in winter, but layer up!
